Approved for private non-commercial use only, <br />5, An attached garage shall be designed and constructed as a <br /> free-standing, self-supporting structure and may only be <br /> attached to a manufactured dwelling with appropriate flash- <br /> ing or sealing materials to provide a weather seal <br /> (Section 807(b) Manufactured Dwelling Code), <br />6. The garage shall be completely separated from the manufac- <br /> tured dwelling or cabana including attic and crawl space <br /> areas by means of 1/2 inch type "X" gypsum board or its <br /> equivalent. The door between the garage and manufactured <br /> dwelling shall be a solid wood door not less than I 3/8 inch <br /> in thickness, a 20-minute fire-rated door, or equivalent. <br /> (Section 807(d)(1.2) Oregon Manufactured Dwelling Code Stan) <br />7. No exhaust vent, combustion air vent. return air vent, con- <br /> densation drain, or any other vent may terminate inside the <br /> attached garage. Any vent or condensate drain that <br /> terminates in the garage shall be extended to the exterior <br /> of the building. (Section 807(d)(2) Oregon Manufactured <br /> Dwelling Code Standards). <br />8. When a garage encloses an exit door of a manufactured <br /> dwelling, an additional exit door, opening to the outside. <br /> shall be installed in either the manufactured dwelling or <br /> the garage within close proximity to the original door and <br /> in a location acceptable to the building department, <br /> (Section 809(c) Oregon Manufactured Dwelling Code Standards) <br />9, SEPARATION. An opening from a private garage directly into <br /> a room used for sleeping purposes shall not be permitted in <br /> a manuactured dwelling or cabana. No windows shall be <br /> permitted in the exterior wall of a manufactured dwelling or <br /> cabana where a garage is to be attached. When an accessory <br /> building or structure encloses an emergency bedroom egress <br /> window so that it no longer allows egress to the outside. <br /> another emergency egress window opening to the outside shall <br /> be installed in the same bedroom, (Section 807(d).1. 809(d)) <br /> <br /> <br />
