ALLOWABLE AREA INCREASES. (OSSC Sec 505) Separation on three sides. (OSSC Sec 305.9) An approved fire alarm system shall be provided for Group E Occupancies with an occupant load exceeding 50 persons. In Group Occupancies provided with an automatic sprinkler or detection system, the operation of such system shall automatically activate the school fire alarm system, which shall include an alarm mounted on the exterior building, See Chapter lO for smoke-detection requirements.
