Libemtore of the Terra Firma Geoteehnical which
provides engineering and field observation services. We found that Ms. Liberatore's
report provided a complete and accurate report on the site problems on your property
at 11654 Bunting Lane NE, Aurora, based on the anecdotal information and
photographs of the foundation of the home which you provided to her. No further
investigation of the site for the actual depth and material used in the fill was done at
this time.

As stated in Mr. Mousehein's letter of July 19, 1'999, the placement permit for the
manufactured home did not get a final inspection and approval to occupy the home
as required by Oregon Manufactured Dwelling Standard and Oregon Law. The
permit expired on October 21, 1998.

In August of last year (1998) you were notified of our concern about the stability of
the slope adjacent to the manufactored home. No corrective action was taken last
year to resolve the unstable slope. Marion County notified you on July 7 of this year
asking that corrective action to resolve this slope be done and a final inspection and
approval be done by July 28th of this year. You were granted an extension, until July
30th to r~-pond which Ms. Liberatore and Jill of James C_niffiths Excavating did for
yOU.

We are granting you another extension until August 18th to submit a proposal to
stabilize the slope for long term slope stability. The short term slope stability
identified in Ms. Liberatore's report is not acceptable as the home has been occupied
in violation of the Oregon Manufactured Dwelling Standard and Oregon Law for a
year now. Marion County will not take responsibility for safety of the occupants of
the home if the slope gives way bemuse of your delay in resolving this issue.

Marion (~unty z~ · 3150 Lancas~r I~.
