THIS PLAN REVIEW WAS COMPLETED BY M, JONES ON 07/20/98. <br />2, Approval of submitted plans is not an approval of omissions <br />or oversights by this office or of noncompliance with any <br />applicable regulations of local government. <br />4, This is a Plan Review covering the construction of the <br />above indicated new building. Plans have been reviewed for <br />compliance with the provisions of the Oregon State <br />Structural Specialty Code ('94 UBC) 1996 Edition. <br />5, LOCATION ON PROPERTY. (OSSC Sec 503) <br /> Exterior walls shall have fire resistance and opening <br /> protection as set forth in TABLE 5-A and in accordance with <br /> such additional provisions as are set forth in chapter 6. <br /> Distances shall be measured at right angles from the propert <br /> y line. The following requirements are based on a S-1 <br /> Occupancy of Type V-N construction: <br /> Exterior Walls: One-hour less than 20 feet <br /> Openings: Not permitted less than 5 feet and protected <br /> less than 10 feet with a minimum fire assembly <br /> having at least a three-fourths-hour fire <br /> protection rating. <br />6, LOCATION ON PROPERTY, cont'd, <br /> For the purposes of determining the required wall and open- <br /> ing protection and roof-covering requirements, buildings on <br /> the same property shall be assumed to have a property line <br /> between them. <br /> When a new building is to be erected on the same property as <br /> an existing building, the location of the assumed property <br /> line with relation to the existing building shall be such <br /> that the exterior wall and opening protection of the exist- <br /> ing building meet the criteria as set forth in TABLE 5-A and <br /> Chapter 6, <br />7. SPECI~J- HAZARDS. (OSSC Sec 311,8) <br /> Storage and use of flammable and combustible liquids shall <br /> be in accordance with the Fire Code, <br /> Devices generating a glow, spark or flame capable of <br /> igniting flammable vapors shall be installed such that <br /> sources of ignition are at least 18 inches above the floor <br /> of any room in which Class I flammable liquids or flammable <br /> gases are used or stored. <br />$. PLUMBING FIXTURES. (OSSC Sec Appendix Sec 2905) <br />Each building shall be provided with sanitary facilities, <br />including provisions for accessibility in accordance with <br />Chapter 11, <br />EXCEPTION: <br />2, Except in restaurants and dining establishments or where <br />patrons have paid a fee for attendance and will remain <br />in the building for an extended period of time, sanitary <br />fixtures may be located in an adjacent building on the <br />same property, <br />7. Buildings not normally occupied. <br />9. TRUSS DESIGN. <br />The design of the roof trusses was not submitted with the <br />plans and is not include in this plan review. <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon <br />registered Engineer or Architect, For trusses manufactured <br />by an approved fabrication plant, have the truss design and <br />layout drawings available at the construction site for the <br />framing inspection. <br /> <br /> <br />
