TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION, (OSSC Sec 603,1) <br /> This building has been determined to be of Type V-N <br /> construction. <br /> The type of construction classification of V-N is used to <br /> allow for the second Exception in Section 503,3, aggregate <br /> area of two or more buildings on the same property. <br /> By including Norm's Hangars, no exterior fire-resistive wall <br /> construction will be required between the hangars, <br /> 8, ALLOWABLE AREA. ALLOWABLE AREA INCREASE, (OSSC Sec 505.1.3) <br /> Separation on all sides where yards more than 20 feet in <br /> width extend on all sides of the building, floor areas may <br /> be increased at a rate of 5% for each foot by which the mini <br /> mum exceeds 20 feet, Such increases shall not exceed 100%, <br /> except that greater increases shall be permitted for S-5 air <br /> craft hangars not exceeding one story in height, Therefore: <br /> Existing Hangar #10: 3,600 sq ft * 48-20 = 28(5%) = 140% <br /> Existing Hangar #20 = 3,600 sq ft * 8000(1,4) = 11,200 <br /> Existing Hangar #11: 2,600 sq ft * Basic Allow = 8,000 <br /> Proposed Hangar #19 3,600 sq ft * TOTAL = 19.200 <br /> TOTAL 14,400SQ FT * <br />10, SPECIFIC USE PROVISIONS.
