Plans have been reviewed for <br /> compliance with the provisions of the Oregon State <br /> Structural Specialty Code ('94 UBC) 1996 Edition, <br /> 6. Storage and use of flammable and combustible liquids shall <br /> be in accordance with the Fire Code, (708) <br /> 7, An approved water supply capable of supplying the required <br /> fire flow for fire protection shall be provided to all <br /> premises upon which facilities, buildings or portions of <br /> buildings are hereafter constructed or moved into or within <br /> the jurisdiction. When any portion of the facility or <br /> building protected is in excess of 150 feet from a water <br /> supply on a public street, as measured by an approved route <br /> around the exterior of the facility or building, on-site <br /> fire hydrants and mains capable of supplying the required <br /> fire flow shall be provided when required by the chief. <br /> (OUFC Sec 902,2) <br /> 8. Buildings under construction shall be in accordance with <br /> Section 8704. Fire department access roads shall be establi <br /> shed and maintained in accordance with Section 902. <br /> Water mains and hydrants shall be installed and operational <br /> in accordance with Section 902, <br /> Combustible debris shall not be accumulated within buildings <br /> Combustible debris, rubbish and waste materials shall be <br /> ~emoved from buildings as often as practical. Combustible <br /> debris, waste material and trash shall not be burned on the <br /> site unless approved, Construction material shall not block <br /> access to buildings, hydrants or fire appliances. <br /> (OUFC Sec 8704) <br /> 9. Fireblocking shall be provided in the following locations: <br /> 1. In concealed spaces of stud walls and partitions, <br /> including furred spaces, at the ceiling and floor levels <br /> and at lO-foot intervals both vertical and horizontal, <br /> 2, At all interconnections between concealed vertical and <br /> horizontal spaces such occur at soffits, drop ceilings <br /> and cove ceilings. <br /> 4. In openings around vents, pipes, ducts, chimneys, fire- <br /> places and similar openings which afford a passage for <br /> fire at ceiling and floor levels, with noncombustible <br /> materials. <br /> (OSSC Sec 708.2) <br /> 10, This site, building and facilities are required to be <br /> accessible to and useable by persons with disabilities, <br /> Details and dimensions not shown shall comply with Public <br /> Law 101-236, the Americans with Disabilities Act.
