An inspection determined that it did not appear adequate to serve the purpose proposed. <br />Based on the results of this study, site approval has been qranted for the installation of a <br />new system. This approval is site specific and Must be installed according to the followit~g <br />specifications and the attached site plan. <br />Soils in the approved area shall not be altered or modified by cutting, filling, or other <br />activities which would impede the successful operation of the septic system. Observe all <br />required setback/separation distances during the i~stallation of the system. <br /> <br />Keep this document with your records. Give a copy of this permit to the septic system <br />~nstaller prior to the installation of the system. Any deviation from the approved plan <br />must have prior approval from this office. <br /> <br />ThP following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of the septic system: <br /> TYPE OF REPLACEMENT SYSTEM: SEEPAGE TRENCH <br /> <br /> M~NIMUM SEPTIC TANK CAPACITY: 1588 GALLONS <br /> LINEAL FEET OF DRAINFIELD: 188 <br /> TYPE OF DISTRIBUTION: SERIAL <br /> DISPOSAL TRENCH DEPTH: 42INCHES, MINIMUM; 42INCHES, MAXIMUM <br /> TOTAL DRAIN MEDIA DEPTH: 38INCHES <br /> DRAIN MEDIA UNDER PIPE: 24INCHES <br /> MINIMUM SOIL BACKFILL: 12INCHES <br /> GROUND WATER INTERCEPTOR: H <br /> <br /> The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on Minimum ten (18) foot <br /> centers and with no Nine exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated <br /> pipe are installed level (+/- one inch) and contoured to follow the natural ground <br /> <br />COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS <br /> <br />1. THIS SEPTIC REVIEW WAS COMPLETED BY LEE GRIMES OH FEBRUARY <br /> 2. 1~8. THE REVIEW IS TO CONSIDER ADDING DRAINLINES TO THE <br /> EXISTING SEPTIC SYSTEM. APPARENTLY 75 LINEAL FEET OF SEEPAGE <br /> TRENCH WAS ADDED TO THE SYSTEM IN 1785. AT LEAST ANOTHER 188 <br /> FEET OF SEEPAGE TRENCH IS NECESSARY NOW. REFER TO REVISED <br /> SITE PLAN DATED FEBRUARY 3. 17~8. THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE <br /> PUMPED ON A REGULAR SCHEDUEE TO EXTEND THE USEFUL LIFE OF <br /> THE NEW SEEPAGE TRENCH. NO ADDITIONAL AREA IS AVAILABLE FOR <br /> MORE SEEPAGE TRENCH SHOULD THE NEW LINE PROVE INADEQUATE. <br /> OBSERVE ALL USUAL SETBACK AND SEPARATION DISTANCES. <br />2. This system must be inspected prior to cover.
