<br /> 7, ACCEPTABILITY. This plan review covers the addition to and/
<br /> or alteration of an existing structure, This review is not
<br /> intended to prohibit the building inspector from requesting
<br /> an evaluation of the acceptability of existing structural
<br /> members that may appear to be unsafe, Existing construction
<br /> not specifically detailed in the submitted plans and struc-
<br /> tural calculations is beyond the scope of this review,
<br /> B. FINISHED GRADE. Footings shall extend not less than 12
<br /> inches below the finish natural grade. Foundation walls
<br /> shall extend at least 6 inches above the finished grade
<br /> adjacent to the foundation at all points, except 4 inches is
<br /> allowed where masonry veneer is used, [Fig. 403,1a,
<br /> Section 404.1,3]
<br /> 9. ANCHOR BOLTS, Foundation plates shall be bolted to the
<br /> foundation with a minimum 1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch
