You may leave a message for the inspector if desired. <br />Be sure the System Record form w~th the As-Built drawing is <br />on the job or in our office when the inspection is requested <br />An ~nspection should be completed within seven (7) days, <br />CAPPING FILL systems are installed in soils where a layer <br />that limits the effective soild depth or a water table is <br />present in the soil profile at a depth shallower than <br />allowed for a standard system, The drainfield is installed a <br />at a very shallow depth and fill is placed over the field to <br />provide the earth cover over the system, CAPPING FILL <br />SYSTEMS MAY ONLY BE INSTALLED FROM JUNE 1 AND OCTOBER I or <br />during such times when Building Inspection staff finds soil <br />moisture conditions acceptable. See the attached "CAPPING <br />FILL information sheet for ~nstructions. Fill material must <br />be evenly graded over the drainfield and crowned at the <br />center to shed rainfall, <br />TILE DEWATERING systems are installed in areas where a <br />temporary or permanent groundwater table is present <br />shallower than allowed for a standard system. The site must <br />have a natural outlet that will allow a field tile installed <br />around the drainfield to daylight at a point above the <br />annual high water, These systems are only allowed on sites <br />where the slope does not exceed 2~. See the attached "Tile <br />Dewatering" instructions for further information, See the <br />system design package by Environmental Management Systems <br />dated April 28, 1998. <br /> <br /> <br />
