A CURTAIN DRAIN IS REQUIRED as part of this system. The <br />curtain drain trench must be constructed a mimimum twelve <br />(12) inches wide by 48 inches deep with 38 inches <br />of clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch smooth wall. <br />perforated pipe, The curtain drain must be located at least <br />ten (iD) feet upslope from the disposal field and must <br />discharge through a watertight non-perforated pipe beside or <br />below the disposal field, A minimum separation of ten (lO) <br />feet is required from the septic tank if the tank is located <br />upslope of the curtain drain and five (5) feet if the tank <br />is located downslope of the curtian drain. <br /> <br /> <br />
