ANCHOR BOLTS. Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with a minimum 1/2 - <br />inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts embedded at least 7 inches into concrete or reinforced <br />masonry and spaced not more than 6 feet apart with a minimum of 2 bolts per piece with one bolt <br />within 12 inches of the end of each piece. [Fig. 403.1a] <br /> <br />2. FOUNDATION CRIPPLE WALLS shall be framed of studs not less in size than the studding <br />above. When exceeding 4 feet, such walls shall be framed of studs having the size required for <br />an additional story. FILL MATERIAL shall be free of vegetation and foreign material. The fill shall be compacted <br />to assure uniform support of the slab, and except where approved, the fill depths shall not <br />exceed 24 inches for clean sand or gravel and 8 inches for earth. [Sec. 505.2] <br /> <br />4. BP,ABP. This structure uses a combination of Brace Wall Panels (BP) and Alternate Braced <br />Wall Panels (ABP) to meet the cede requirements for lateral wall bracing. Insure that all BP's <br />and ABP's are located as indicated on the plans and constructed as shown. <br /> <br />5. TRUSS DESIGN. Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered Engi- <br />neer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved fabrication plant, have the design <br />and layout drawings available at the construction site for the framing inspection. All job site <br />cutting or modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the engineer's design <br />calculations and drawings. <br /> <br />6. NON-HEATED STRUCTURE. This structure is being reviewed as a non-heated structure. If <br />the building is to be heated, apply for an addendum to these plans by submitting revised plans <br />showing how this structure will meet the requirements of the Oregon Energy Code. Apply before <br />starting construction. <br /> <br /> <br />
