The ~arage shall be completel~ separated from the residence <br /> and its attic area by means o~ 1/~-inch gypsum board or <br /> equivalent applied to the ~arage side. Appliances that generate a glow, spa~k or fla~e capable of <br /> igniting~gasoline vapors an~ located in a garage shall be <br /> installed with burners, burner ignition devices or heating <br /> elements and switches at least 18 inches above the floor <br /> level <br />16. S~oke detectors shall be installed outside of each separate <br /> sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms and <br /> on each additional story of the dwelling including <br /> basements. Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon <br /> registered Engineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured <br /> by an approYe~ fabrication plant, have the design and <br /> l~yout drawings available at the construction ~ite for the <br /> framing inspection. As per conversation with builder, truss <br /> design will be revised to ~eet live load requirement for <br /> snow in City of Detroit. Design/details will be available <br /> at ~obsite and submitted to o~fice. ' <br /> 19.
