Mart'on County

OREGON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMI NT
DEPARTMENT

April 7, 1994

FILE

SANTIAM MOBILE ~OME~
11373 MILL CREEK ROAD
AUMSVILLE, OREGON 97325

Subject: 11373 MILL CREEK RD., AUMSVILLEw
site Number~ 94-~217

OREGON 97325

An inspection was made at the above address on 4/6/94 to
determine if the existing on-site sewage system located
on the property appeared adequate to serve the purpose
described in the attached application. This application
is to rep%ace an office building with a larger building
including a conference room. The septic tank was pumped
on 3/31/94 by Stayton Septic Services and the tank was
inspected at that time. The liquid level ia :he tank was
noted as abno~ally high.

I observed during my visit of April 6, some surface water
ponding on the parking areas from showers earlier in the
day and that runoff had completely filled the open septic
tank. The majority of the property including the existing
drainfield site is developed for parking and displaying
the homes for sale. There in no readily available space
for septi~ system repairs and the current use exceeds the
original approval of four employees maximum. A suitable
repair area must be confirmed, possibly with an easement
onto an adjacent property, at the earliest opportunity.

We recommend that the septic tank be pumped and inspected
by a licensed septic tank pumper approximately every five
years. Thi~ notice does not guarantee satisfactory or
continuous operation of the existing on-site sewage
disposal system. Conditions are marginal. The existing
system was installed May 13, 1974 and consists of a 1000
gallon concrete septic tank and ~-50' drainfield lines.

Call, Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30
any questions concerning this report.

Marion county Building ~nspection
LEE A.
