Marion County

OREGON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT

Cra~ O. Unfor-
tunately, the septic system dralnfield lines are not
slaked to the natural landform, level end to end, as is
necessary for proper construction. After the visit, I
spoke with Kevin Hill's about the need for an accurate
stakeout. I assume that Kevin has talked to you about
staking the property. If not, it will be necessary to
stake the property as per the october 13, 1992 site
evaluation letter and the construction detail sheet for
seepage trench consideration. It is important that great
care is used in slaking the proposed construction.
cially, the individual drainfield lines for both drain-
fields. Note, that the lines must b~ level end to end to
construct the lines at the correct depth of 42 inches
deep minimum and maximum.

Submit a detailed to-scale-drawn ~lot 91an of the cor-
rected stakeout to our office fo~ re-evaluation as soon
as possible. Alternative sand filter systems can be con-
sidered which utilize slightly less dr~infield should you
not be able to stake the required amount of seepage
trench lines. Additionally, the proposed access and
resulting driveway cutbank from First Street will severe-
ly limit space for stakin~ th~ drainfield lines. Refer to
the enclosed stakeout procedure and the setback li~t for
details to complete the stakeout.

Call, if you have any que~tion~.
office between 8 and 10 AM.

L~E A', IM , SOIL SCIENTIST
MARION COUNTY, BUILDING INSPECTIONS

I am

usually in the

High Str~t NE $~Jem, Oregon ~730'J.~67~) - --
