The system
consists of a small concrete septic tank and a single
drainfield line that trends from the tank toward Santiam
Loop Road. The single line is plastic which indicates
that it was recently installed. We have no record of a
permit to construct such a drainfield line.

The existing septic system is too smal'l to support the
proposed three bedroom mobile home so a site evaluation
will be necessary to locate a suitable septic system and
replacement site. The existing septic tank must be prop-
erly abandoned (see enclosed abandonment form).

Make application for the site evaluation at our office as
soon as you can. we cannot process the hardship mobile
home application until acceptable septic system sites are
confirmed. Include a site plan of the test pit locations
so I don't miss anything that you want considered. I
suggest that you work with an experienced septic system
installer who is familiar with septic system require-
ments. A list of installers is enclosed for your conve-
nience.

Call, if you have any question~.
office between 8 and 10 AM.

LEE A.
