Marion County

OREGON
COMMUNITY DFVFLOPMENT
DEPARTMENT

January 8, 1993

AUTHORIZATION NOTICE

JAMES & DOROTHY DUNCAN
9033 W STAYTON ROAD SE
AUMSVILLE, OREGON 97325

Subject:

9033 W STAYTON ROAD SE. ALTMSVILLE, ORE. 97325
Site Number: 92-4263

An inspection was made at the above address on 1/4/93 to
determine if the existing on-site sewage system located
on the property appeared adequate to serve the purpose
described in the attached application. This application
is to replace the existing four bedroom mobile home with
a new three bedroom manufactured home. No evidence of
failure was found and the system appeared to be function-
lng in a marginal condition, The septic tank was pumped
on 1/5/93 by Stayton Septic Services and the tank was
inspected at that time. System back-flow was observed.

This notice is issued with the recommendation that the
septic tank be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic
tank pumper approximately every five years. This r~otice
does not guarantee satisfactory or continuous Operation
Of the existing on-site sewage disposal system. Planning
approval may be required for the proposed development of
the property.

COM~ENTS:

This property is nearly flat with ground
water near or at the surface during the win-
ter rainy season. These conditions are not
conducive to proper septic system drainfield
performance. Should the system fail, future
repairs wilt probably include an alternative
sand filter system.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday,
Please contact our office if you have
concerning this report.

Marion County Building I~'~pecti~n
LEE A.
