SE,
SECTION 01, 370 SANTIAi~ AVENUE, DETROIT, oRE.

I visited this property recently to review the site for a
septic system repair. At that time I could not find any
evidence of a system :ailure; in other words no sewage
effluent on the ground surface. While there, I went ahea~
and hand augered a soil test hole in front of the cabin
where I thought you miqht consider constructing a new
drainfield should %he existing one ~e nonfunctional, The
soil appears suitable to consider an installation within
that area except there may not be enouqh space to con-
struct the new drainfield lines. There are some systems
other than a standard system that require less drainfield
but they are more complicated usually more expensive to
construct.

At this point, ~ need more information from you about the
Droblem you have experienced. As I found no s~rfacing, I
hesitate to ask you to design a repair if perhaps only a
sewer line might be plugged or some other repair neces-
sary that does not require a full system replacement-

Please oontact our office with whatever information you
may have. I am usually in the office between 8 and 10 AM,
if that wonl~ be a convenient time to call.

LEE A.
SOIL sCIENTIST

Senator Building 220 High Street NE Salem, Oregon 97301-3670
