August 25, 1992

APPLICANT:
SITE NUMBER:

JIH @ PIPER
92-2443

Your site has been found suitable for a SEEPAGE TPd~NCH ALTERNATIV~
SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply
ko the installation of your septic system.

The sep~i¢ tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 150~0
gallons.

The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at
300 ~.llons ~er day. Based on sell eonditlons observed on this
site, the dis/~osal field will be sized at ~ lineal fe~t per $5_0
qall~ns of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 90 lineal
feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop-
ment. The diaposal t~enches are constructed two (2) feet wide and
on minimum ten (10) foot cen~ers and with no line exceeding 12~
feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed
level (~") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface.

The disposal field shall be constructed with serial di~T~bution
with a minimu~ trench de~th ef 4~ inches and a maximum trench
depth of ~ inche~. The depth Of filter below the distribution
pipe shall be 24 inches. There must be e~ least .12~2 inch~s of
backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from ~he natural
ground surface.

An ~ffluent lift pump may be necessary to construct ~he disposal field
in the approved area and at the correct depth.

This approval is site specifio to the area tested and the septic system
must be located i~ the immediate area of the test pits u~lese otherwise autho-
rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is
proposed for a different area on the property.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
This consideration is for a twe...bedroom m~ximum residence. The system
will be slightly substandard in setback and separation distance between
components of the septic System and other features. Refer to the
enclosed diagram (notice the drop boxes five feet from the lot line and
the eight feet center to center drainline separation). ObserVe all othe~
normal setback/separation distances. A 1~00 gallon, combo d~sing septic
tank will be necessary and an effluent pump to reach the upper most
seepage trench. A green clad trace wire is require from the house
cleanout to the ~eptic tank oleanout lid and from the lid to the upper
drop bo×. Filter fabric should be used to cover the rock in the seepage
trenches. ~ ~
