Angel, Oregon 97362 <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />Septic System Authorization 95-16809 <br />10008 Donald Rd, NE, Aurora <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Morris <br /> <br />A review of the existing septic system located at the above address was conducted on October <br />23, 1995. The following violations were noted in the system, <br /> <br />The existing septic tank has a 300 gallon capacity which is undersized under the DEQ <br />rules and is inadequate for the house. <br />The existing septic system does not meet the setbacks required by the DEQ rules. The <br />current rules require a separation of 100 feet between the septic system disposal field and <br />the well and 50 feet between the septic tank and the well, The previous rules (prior to <br />May, 1973) required a separation of 50 feet from the septic tank and disposal field to the <br /> <br />There is sufficient area on the property to install a new system that will meet the minimum <br />separation distances required by the DEQ rules and that will be sized properly to serve the <br />proposed house. It will be necessary to submit a new site plan showing the area proposed for <br />the septic system. Test holes must be dug in the proposed area of the septic system. A site visit <br />will be scheduled after we have received the new site plan and are advised that the test pits <br />are ready for inspection. The fees paid for the Authorization will be applied to the alteration <br />permit required for the installation of the new system.
