DETROIT, OREGON 97342
Site #:95-11267, T:10S, R:5E, S:iCD, T/L:lg00

An inspection was made at the above address on April 6,
1995 to determine if the existing on-site sewage system
located on the property appeared adequate to serve a new
two bedroom manufactured dwelling. While inspecting the
property, the following conditions were noted which are
in conflict with the Department of Environmental Quality
On-Site Sewage Disposal Rules.

The site plan submitted with the authorization applica-
tion outlines a 80' x 80' parcel which is different in
dimensions than the parcel (T/L:lg00) as displayed by
the current tax map. Measurements .taken in the field do
not correlate with dimensions of either parcel. Conse-
quently, the field stakeout of the existing and pro-
posed development conflicts with the lot lines of both
configurations. I also discovered that the existing
drainfield lines trend in a westerly direction f~om the
septic tank and extend into an area in direct conflict
with the proposed building site, The site of the ~eptic
tank is either in immediate proximity to the easterly
property line or on the adjacent lot. I found the tank
in deteriorating condition, encumbered with roots and
with about a foot of composting debris in the bottom of
the tank~

Since the above conflicts exist, we cannot approve the
application to use the existing on-site sewage system. It
will be necessary to obtain an on-site sewage alteration
pez~mit and make the necessary corrections before we can
approve a sewage system on this property. A property
survey will prgbably be necessary to confirm lot lines.

Marion County Building Inspection
LEE A.
