580 9TH ST, AUMSVILLE <br />95-00507 (61083) <br />February 4, 1995 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Marion Qou.ty <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />DEP^RTMENT <br /> <br />Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and TWO Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />A COPY OF THE APPROVED PLANS S~ALL BE KEPT ON THE SITE OF THE EUILDING <br />OR WORK AT THE TI~ OF THE INSPECTION. (R-111.2) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum o~ 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />Footings shall extend not less than 12 in- below the finish natural <br />grade, Foundations walls shall extend at least 6 in, above the finished <br />grade at all points. (R~303) (R-304.2} <br /> <br />A keyway in the footing is an acceptable method and will transfer the <br />lateral loads, OR provide a 18 inch long No. 3 dowels extending 12 <br />inches from the footing into the wall, 4 feet on center, OR pour the <br />footing and stemwall at one time (monolithically). All wood left <br />permanently in contact with the foundation shall be FOUNDATION GRADE <br />WITH ALL CUT ENDS AND/OR SIDES TREATED with an approved wood <br />preservative. (R-310) <br /> <br />Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with minimum <br />1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts embedded at least 7 inches <br />into concrete or reinforced masonry and spaced not more than 6 feet <br />apart with a minimum of 2 bolts per piece with one bolt within 12 inches <br />of the end of each piece. Figure (R-303) <br /> <br />The structural supports for decks, balconies, porches or similar <br />structures shall be pressure-treated wood to protect against decay. <br />(R-309.z) <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window approved for <br />emergency egress or rescue. The window sill height shall not be more <br />than 44 inches above the floor. The minimum net clear opening width <br />dimension shall be 20 inches. The minimum net opening height shall be <br />24 inches. The minimum net clear opening area shall be at least 5.7 <br />square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br />Heating and cooling appliances located in a garage shall be protected <br />from impact by automobiles.
