675 9TH ST, AUMSVILLE <br />9 5 0 0 2 <br />January 25, 1999 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Marion County <br /> <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />A COPY OF THE APPROVED PLANS S~ALL RE KEPT ON THE SITE OF THE ~UILDING <br />OR WORK AT THE TIME OF TH~ INSPECTION. (R-111.2) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />When reinforcement is located in the footing in the proximity of the <br />electrical service panel, one piece of the reinforcement shall extend a <br />minimum of 1' above the plate to act as a grounding electrode for the <br />panel, If a piece is bent and tied, it must be tied (MINIMUM 1' LAP) to <br />a minimum 20' long section of reinforcement in the footing or wall. <br />Contact the Electrical Inspector with questions. (NEC Article 250- <br />81 (o)) <br /> <br />Footings shall extend not less than 12 in. below the finish natural <br />grade. FotU%dations walls shall extend at least 6 in. above the finished <br />grade at all points. (R-303) (R-304.2) <br /> <br />A keyway in the footing is an acceptable method and will transfer the <br />lateral loads, OR provide a 18 inch lon~ No_ 3 dowels extendin~ 12 <br />inches from the footing into the wall, 4 feet on center, OR pour the <br />footing and stemwall at one time (monolithically). The window sill height shall not be more <br />than 44 inches above the floor. The minimum net clear opening width <br />dimension shall be 20 inches. The minimum net opening height shall be <br />24 inches. The minimum net clear opening area shall he at least 5.7 <br />square feet, (R-210.2) <br /> <br />Heating and cooling appliances located in a garage shall be protected <br />from impact by automobiles. (M~1006.3} <br /> <br />This house plan uses a ¢or~bination of Brace Panels (BP) and Alternate <br />~race Panels (A~P) to met the code requirements for lateral wall <br />bracing, Insure that all EP's and ABp's are located as indicated <br />on the plans and construo~ed as shown. <br /> <br /> <br />
