Before completion of the plan review and issuing the building permit <br />we need information on the following: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />The soils reporK indicates the storage tank foundations are to be <br />constructed on three feet of compacted crushed rock for the allowable <br />3,000 psf soil bearing pressure used in the design_ This needs to be <br />shown on the plans. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />The storage tank shown on Peabody Dwg. 50878 (200 Ton Soy) does not match <br />the height or diameter shown on the foundation drawings and in the <br />foundation calculations. Please submit revised foundation drawings (2) <br />and foundation calculations (1) for this tank. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />The drawing submitted by the Scafco Corporation Model 2113SHBT (400 Ton <br />Corn) tanks do not show the field connections required for the assembly of <br />the completed tank and lateral bracing. The drawings do not show the <br />location and gage of the tank shell and stiffeners. Please submit two <br />sets of the complete erection plans. <br /> <br />The drawing submitted by Peabody TecTank does not show all the required <br />field connections regui~ed for assembly of the completed tanks. Note <br />reference 11) to the Peabody TecTank's standard dry erection manual. This <br />was not submitted. Please submit two sets of the complete erection plans. <br /> <br />The calculations submitted by Scafco and Peabody were very clear and appear to <br />be in order. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. <br /> <br /> <br />
