This review <br />is based on the carport will not be attached to the existing <br />manufactured dwelling. (As per Jotun Roehm on 2/15, @ 4:00 p.m.) <br /> <br />The installation of the carport shall be as required by the <br />manufacturer's instruction drawings. <br /> <br />See attached letter from the State of Oregon Building Codes Division, <br />dated February 3, 1995, for the requirements of additional perimeter <br />pier blocks. (This is applicable if carport is attached to dwelling <br /> <br />On Western Awning Company plan sheet no. 28, Connection Details - <br />Splices & Attachment to Building, Detail 2 specifies a #10 x 2 1/2 inch <br />lag screw at 12 inches on center (to stud wall or blocking). As per J. <br />Byron Rupert, engineer, the attachment to the manufactured dwelling wall <br />of one lag at 12 inches on center can be revised to (2) lags at 16 inch <br />on center as to match the stud spacing of the manufactured home. See <br />a~ached copy of Mr. Rupert's revised fastening. (This is applicable if <br />carport is attached to dwelling unit.) <br /> <br />See attached Red Head Concrete Anchoring System for anchor size to be <br />used. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />MLJ <br /> <br /> "APPROVED" only when this sheet is <br />attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
