March 16, 1993 <br /> <br />APPLICANT: <br />SITE NUMBER: <br /> <br />SAND FILTER SYSTEM CONSTHUCHION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />KENNETH ALLEN <br />93-651 <br /> <br />6.94 ACRES, PARTITION <br /> <br /> Your cite has been found cuitable for a SAND FILTER ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction cpecifications shall apply to the <br />installation of your septic system. <br /> <br />The septic tank chall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br />gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />450 qallons....per day. Based on coil conditions obcerved on this <br />cite, the disposal field will be cized at 45 lineal feet. per 150 <br />qallq~c of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 135 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your propoced develop- <br />ment. The dispocal trenches are conctructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenchec and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground outface. <br /> <br />The dicposal field chall be constructed with e ua~istribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of iS inches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 18 inche~. There must be at least 6 inches of backfill <br />over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground <br />surface. <br /> <br /> 4. The sand filter system chall be designed and operated ac per OAR <br /> 340-71-290 through 340-71-305. Detailed plans for the system must <br /> be submitted prior to permit issuance. A building permit is <br /> required if a site built concrete box is uced as the sand filter <br /> container. A pamphlet is available in our office which details the <br /> requirements for a cand filter cyctem. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may be nececcary to cOnctruct the dispocal field <br /> in the approved area and at the correct depth. <br /> <br /> This approval ic site specific to the area tested and the ceptic system <br />must be located in the irmmediate area of the tect pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />propoced for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS~ <br /> Conctruct the drainfields on the highest part of the property within the <br /> immediate area of the two easterly test pitt. The westerly pit is <br /> clightly lower which will include a capping fill as part of the cand <br /> filter drainfield installation, use care not to dicturb the natural <br /> topsoil within the drainfield cites. Filter fabric is required to cover <br /> the drainfield drainrock prior to backfilling. Obcerve all normal <br /> cetback/separation distancec. Refer to the enclosed cetback lict which <br /> outlines minimum separationc between ceptic systems and other features. <br /> <br />THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL T~E SEFTIC SYSTEM.
