(R-111.2) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />Footings shall extend not less than 12 in. below the finish natural <br />grade. Foundations walls shall extend at least 6 in. above the finished <br />grade at all points. (R-303) (R-304.2) <br /> <br />A keyway in the footing is an acceptable method and will transfer the <br />lateral loads, OR provi~ a 18 inch long No. 3 dowels extending 12 <br />inches from the footing into the wall, 4 feet on center, OR pour the <br />footing and stemwall at one time (monolithically). All wood left <br />permanently in contact with the foundation shall be FOUNDATION GRADE <br />WITH ALL CUT EIqDS AND/OR SIDES TREATED with an approved wood <br />preservative. (R-310) <br /> <br />This foundation is being reviewed assuming 4 feet of unbalanced fill or <br />less. If the actual height of fill will be more than 4 feet, then an <br />ADDENDUM to this plan review shall be made by the permit holder, by <br />submitting to this office revised foundation plans showing the true fill <br />height before construction commence~_, <br /> <br />The structural supports for decks, balconies, porches or similar <br />structures shall be pressure-treated wood to protect against decay. <br /> <br />Stairways shall not be less than 3 feet in clear width and the headroom <br />shall not be less than 6 feet $ inches. The minimum required stair <br />tread width is 9 inches. The maximum stair rise is @ 1/4 inches. When <br />risers are closed, all treads may bays a uniform projection not to <br />exceed 1 1/2 inches. The greatest riser height shall not exceed the <br />smallest by more than 3/8 inch. (R-213.1) <br /> <br />Enclosed accessible space under stairs shall have walls and soffits <br />protected on the enclosed side with 1/2 inch glrpsum board. <br /> <br /> "APPROVED" only when this sheet is <br />attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
