October 19, 1994 APPLICANT: SITE NUMBER: STANDARD SYSTEM CONSTKUCTION DETAIL SHEET CHUCK SAKER 94-3495, PARCEL A, 5.08 ACRES. Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa- tion of your septic system. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 100Q, gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 450 ~allons per daw. Based on soil conditions observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal fees per 150 ~allons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 450 lineal feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (Zl") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution with a minimum trench depth of 24 inches and a maximum trench depth of 24......~ches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground A groundwater interceptor is required as part of this system. This interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by 42 inches deep with 36 inches of clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch smooth wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must be located at least ten (10) feet upslope from the disposal field and must discharge through a watertight, non- perforated pipe beside or below the disposal field. A separation of 25 feet is required from the septic tank if the tank is located upslope of the groundwa- ter interceptor. This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS= Construct the drainfields as far upslope as possible within the cleared area of the test pits. Soil conditions are marginal for standard system construction, use care not to alter the natural topsoil p~ior to drain- field construction. A preconstruction field stakeout is recommended to establish the elevations and locations of the individual drainfield lines. Refer to the stakeout procedure and the setback list for details to complete the stakeout. THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INSTALL THE SYSTEM UNTIL A VALID PERMIT HAS BEEN ISS~D BY THIS OFFICE.
