Unfor-
tunately, the septic system drainfield lines are not
staked to the natural landform, level end to end, as is
necessary for proper construction. After the visit,
spoke with Kevin Hill's about the need for an accurate
stakeout. I assume that Kevin has talked to you about re-
staking the property. If not, it will be necessary to
stake the property as per the October 13, 1992 site
evaluation letter and the construction detail sheet for
seepage trench consideration. It is important that great
care is used in staking the proposed construction. Espe-
cially, the individual drainfield lines for both drain-
fields. Note, that the lines must be level end to end to
construct the lines at the correct depth of 42 inches
deep minimum and maximum.

Submit a detailed to-scale-drawn plot plan of the cor-
rected stakeout to our office for re-evaluation as soon
as possible. Alternative sand filter systems can be con-
sidered which utilize slightly less drainfield should you
not be able to stake the required amount of seepage
trench lines. Additionally, the proposed access and
resulting driveway cutbank from First Street will severe-
ly limit space for staking the drainfield lines. Refer to
the enclosed stakeout procedure and the setback list for
details to complete the stakeout.

Call, if you have any questions.
office between 8 and 10, AM.

MARION COUNTY, BUILDING INSPECTIONS

I am

usually in the

Senator B~ilding 220 High Street NE ' Salem, Oregon 97301-3670
