Marion County

OREGON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT

DII~ECTOI~

I$O:D 588 5147

(503) 588-50.~8

October 7, 1994

AUTHORIZATION NOTICE

BERNARD & DEBBIE JUEDEN
900 SALEM HEIGHTS AVE SOUTH
SALEM, OREGON 97302

Subject: 330 CLESTER STREET, DETROIT, OREGON 97342
Site Number: 94-3378

An inspection was made at the above address on 10/7/94 to
determine if the existing on-site sewage system located
on the property appeared adequate to serve the purpose
described in the attached application. This application
is to construct an addition to the existing residence. No
evidence of failure was found and the system appeared to
be functioning in a satisfactory manner. The septic tank
was pumped on 5/20/94 by Stayton Septic Services and the
tank was inspected at that time.

This notice is issued with the recommendation that the
septic tank be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic
tank pumper approximately every five years. This notice
does not guarantee satisfactory or continuous operation
of the existing on-site sewage disposal system. Planning
approval may be required for the proposed development of
the property.

COMMENTS:

We have no record of the existing system in
our files. Space limitations for septic sys-
tems restrict the house ~o two bedrooms maxi-
mum. Future repairs might include an alterna-
tive sand filter system. The addition must
meet a ten feet minimum setback from the
closest drainfield line.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30.
Please contact our office if you have any questions
concerning this report.

Marion County Building Inspection
LEE A.
