Concrete cast against and permanently exposed to earth .... 3" <br /> <br /> b. Concrete exposed to earth or weather <br /> No. 6 through 18 bar ................................ 2" <br /> No. 5 bar, W31 or D31 wire, and smaller ......... 1-1/2" <br /> <br />2. Firestopping shall be provided in the following locations: <br /> A) In concealed spaces of stud walls, including furred spaces, <br /> at the ceiling and floor level; <br /> B) At all interconnections between concealed vertical and <br /> horizontal spaces such as occur at soffits, drop ceilings <br /> etc.; <br /> C) At openings around vents, pipes, ducts, chimneys and <br /> fireplaces at ceiling and floor level, with noncombustible <br /> materials. (R-402.7) <br /> <br />3 A minimum 3' X 3' landing shall be required on each side of an egress <br /> door. The floor Or landing shall not be more than 1-1/2" lower than <br /> the top of the threshold. (R-212 <br /> EXCEPTION: The landing on the exterior side of an exterior <br /> doorway shall not be more than 8-1/2" below the top of the <br /> threshold. <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />Engineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. All job site cutting or <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />mm <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
