July lB, 1994 <br /> <br />APPLICANT: <br />SITE NUMBER; <br /> <br />STANDARD SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />PAT KILMARTIN C/O ACE SEPTIC SERVICE <br />94-2655 <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL <br />SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa- <br />tion of your septic system. <br /> <br /> The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of ~.O0O <br /> gallons. <br /> <br /> 2. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br /> 450 ~allons Der daY. Eased on soil conditions observed on this <br /> site, the disposal ~ield will be sized at 150 ~.ineal feet per 150 <br /> gallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 450 lineal <br /> fee~t of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br /> ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br /> on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br /> ~eet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br /> level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br /> 3. The disposal field shall be constructed with seri.al distriDution <br /> with a minimum trench depth of 24 inches and a maximum trench <br /> depth of 24 inches. There must be at least ~.2 inches of backfill <br /> over tho top Of the gravel, m~asured from the natural ground <br /> eurfaee. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> Construct the drainfiolds on the upper part of the property. Avoid the <br /> westerly test pit and the southeasterly three pits where tho soil is <br /> shallower to brittle clay and firm saprolite. A pre-construction field <br /> stakeout is recor~ended to establish the elevations and locations of the <br /> individual drainfield lines of both systems prior to any excavation and <br /> siting the well. Refer to the enclosed stakeout procedure and the set- <br /> back list for details to complete the stakeout, soil conditions are <br /> marginal for standard system consideration. Use care not to alter the <br /> natural topsoil prior to construction. Allow space for a future upslope <br /> curtain drain should it prove necessary. An effluent pump might be <br /> required to locate the drainfields within the approved area at the <br /> correct depth. <br /> <br />~IS IS NOT A P~RMIT TO INSTALL THE S~PTIC SYSTEM.
