A SEPE~ATE BUILDING PERMIT <br />IS REQUI~D IF IT is TO BE CON%'ERTED ~) A SEDROOMt DINING ROOMt OR ARY ~HER <br />TYPE OF LIVING .SPACE. <br /> <br />This plan review covers the addition to and/or alteration of an existing <br />structure. This review is not intended to prohibit the building <br />inspector from requesting an evaluation of the acceptability of existing <br />structural meanders that may appear to be unsafe. Existing construction <br />not specifically detailed in the submitted plans and structural <br />calculations is beyond the scope of this review. <br /> <br />A copy of approved plans shall be kept on the site of the building or <br />work ~t the time of inspection. (R-111.2) <br /> <br />When alterations repairs or additions are made to an existing dwelling, <br />the entire building shall be provided with smoke detectors located as <br />required for new dwellings. (R-215,1) <br /> <br />ALL WOOD IN CONTACT WITH THE GROUND SHALL BE PRESSURE TPdZATED AND BOLTED <br />DOWN TO THE CONCRETE 6 FOOT O.C.. <br /> <br />SOME TYPE OF APPROVED SHEATHING SHALL BE INSTALLED ON T~E EXTERIOR WALL~ <br />TO PROVIDE LATERAL BRACING AND W~ATHER PROTECTION. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the Jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority tO violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />DAW <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
