The requirement
for 610 feet of disposal field includes both the initial
system and the future replacement system. The initial
system is a standard system with 450 lineal feet. The
future replacement system is a sand filter system with
160 lineal feet. The original approval on the property
was for a maximum 4 bedroom residence with a sewage flow
of 450 gallons per day. The above disposal field figures
are based on the request by Elizabeth Heininge for a 5
bedroom residence. If the 610 feet will not fit on the
property, it may be necessary to plan for sand filters
for beth the initial system and the replacement system.

Your question concerning the Airport property is a good
one. There are other issues involved concerning Land Uss
through Marion County Planning. I'm not sure where the
whole issue i~ at right now.

Please call our office if you have any questions.
hour~are 8:00 to 4:30, Monday through Friday.

' / ' Sanitarian

Our

(Sent by Fax on May 24, 1994)

Senator Building 220 High Street NE · Salem, Oregon 97301-3670
