Marion County

OREGON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT

DIRECTOR
Craig O, L~edema~

BUILDING INSPECTION
(5031 588-5147

PL^NNING &
ENFOBCEMENT

Ken Ro~dybush

September 23, 1994

EXISTING SYSTEM EVALUATION

MARY STENGEL
5554 SW EASTMAN PAP/{ WAY
GRESHAM, OREGON 97380

FILE

Subject: 7404 MILL CREEK RD SE, AUMSVILLE, OR 97325
Site Number: 94-2984

An inspection was made at the above address on 9/22/94 to
determine the condition of the existing on-site sewage
system located on the property. The 1000 gallon concrete
septic tank was pumped on 7/14/94 by Carl's Septic Tank
Cleaning and the tank was inspected at that time.

This notice is issued with the recommendation that the
septic tank be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic
tank pumper approximately every five years. This notice
does not guarantee satisfactory or continuous operation
of the existing on-site sewage disposal system.

COMMENTS:

The house is currently vacant without the
normal daily sewage flow load. Lush vegeta-
tion within the suspected drainfield area
suggests sluggish performance with possible
seasonal surfacing. If so, appropriate re-
pairs will be necessary. Repairs might in-
clude an alternative sand filter system. The
individual drainfield lines are not exposed
for location, but our records indicate that
three (100') lines trend south from the sep-
tic tank. The new property lines must meet a
ten feet minimum separation from the existing
drainfield lines and allow space for a com-
plete repair drainfield of similar size.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday,
Please contact our office if you have
concerning this report.

8:00 to 4:30,
any questions

M~a~io~ C'ountylBuild'ing Inspection
LEE A.
