~749 PARLEY RD, AU~SVILLE <br />94-1640 (9054529) <br />May 12, 1994 <br />Page i <br /> <br />M rion CountM <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY OLcVELOPMENT <br />DI~F'ARTM[NT <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />A copy of approved plans when required by the building official shall be <br />kept-on the site of the building or work at the time of inspection. <br />(R-111.2) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Basement walls, foundation walls, and other vertical concrete exposed to <br />the weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of <br />3000 psi. Porches, carport slabs, garage floor slabs and steps exposed <br />to the weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of <br />3500 psi. Table No. (R-302.2) <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least 8 in. above the finished grade to <br />the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) (6 in. where pressure treated <br />sill plates are used.) <br /> <br />Provide at least 1 square foot of underfloor ventilation for each 150 <br />square feet of crawl space area. The openings shall be covered with a <br />corrosion resistant wire ~esh. At least one such opening shall be <br />provided within 3 feet of each corner of the building. (R-311.1) <br /> <br />23. <br /> <br />Provide an access crawl hole to the underfloor space. The minimum size <br />opening required is 18 inches by 24 inches. (R-311.2) <br /> <br />37. <br /> <br />The sarape shall be completely separated from the residence and its <br />attid area by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board or equivalent applied to <br />the garage side. The door between the garage and residence shall be <br />equipped with solid wood doors not less than 1 3/8 inches in thickness <br />or 20-minute fire rated, or equivalent. (R-209.2) <br /> <br />54. <br /> <br />Provide screened attic vents with a net free area of 1/150 of the attic <br />a~ea (or 1/300 if half is along eaves and the other half in the upper <br />portion). (R-707) <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />FP <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
