May 10, 1994 <br />SITE NUMBER: <br /> <br />CAPPING FILL SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />John Davidson <br />94-01621 <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a CAPPING FILL ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the <br />installation of your septic system. <br /> <br /> 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />450 q~llons Der day. Based on soil conditions observed on this <br />site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal feet Der 150 <br />qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 450 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (~1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with s~i~l distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 12 inches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 18 inches. The capping fill material must be inspected <br />and approved prior to placement. The fill shall be of the same <br />textural class, or one class finer, than the native topsoil. The <br />disposal field area must be scarified to destroy any vegetative <br />mat on the surface. Fill material shall be evenly graded to a <br />final depth of sixteen (16) inches over the gravel. Ca in Fill <br /> <br />durinq such times ,when our stsff finds soil moisture conditions <br />acceptable. <br /> <br />4. The site must be protected from traffic, livestock, farming or <br /> other damaging activities. <br /> <br /> A groundwater interceptor is required as part of this system. This <br />interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by <br />forty-eight (48) inches deep with thirty-six (36) inches of clean gravel <br />placed over a four (4) inch smooth wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must <br />be located at least ten (10) feet upslope from the disposal field and must <br />discharge through a watertight, non-perforated pipe beside or below the <br />disposal field. A separation of 25 feet is required from the septic tank if <br />the tank is located upslope of the groundwater interceptor. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> The test pits are located approximately 100 feet from Uhampoeg Road. The <br /> septic system must be located between the test pits and the road. <br /> <br />THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. BO NOT INSTALL THE SYSTEM <br /> <br />VALID PERMIT ~AS BEEN ISSUED BY THIS OFFICE. <br /> <br /> <br />
