May 10, 1994 <br /> <br />APPLICANT; <br />SITE NUMBER~ <br /> <br />STANDARD SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />John Davidson <br />94-01620 <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL <br />SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa- <br />tion of your septic system. <br /> <br />1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />450 gallons Ret day. Based on soil conditions observed on this <br />site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal feet pot 150 <br />~allons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 450 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (il") and contoured to follow the natural ground surfaco. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with sorial distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 24 inches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 30 inches. There must be at least 12 i.nches of backfill <br />over the top of the gravel, moasured from the natural ground <br />surface. <br /> <br /> A groundwater interceptor is required as part of this system. This <br />interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by <br />forty-eight (48) inchos deep with thirty-six (36) inches of clean gravel <br />placed over a four (4) inch smooth wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must <br />be located at least ten (10) feet upslope from tho disposal field and must <br />discharge through a watertight, non-perforated pipe beside or below the <br />disposal field. A separation of 25 feet is required from the septic tank if <br />the tank is located upslope of the groundwater interceptor. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and tho septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS= <br /> The test pits are located approximately 250 feet from champoeg Road and <br /> directly upslope of the existing house. Avoid the concave land form <br /> (swale) located next to the test pits. <br /> <br />pHIS I$ NOT A pERMIT TO INST~LL TEE SEPTIC SYSTEM.
