April 27, 1994

APPLICA/~T~
SITE NUMBER:

STANDARD SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET

LARRY FJ~UDELL
94-1575, PARTITION, 3 OF 6 ACRES. NORTH PO T/L 200

Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL
SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa-
tion of your septic system.

1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000
gallons.

2. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at
450 gallons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this
site, the disposal field will be si~ed at 15O l%neal feet Der 150
qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 450 lineal
feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop-
ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and
on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125
feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed
level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface.

3. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distrib~tiqq
with a minimum trench depth of 24 inches and a maximum trench
depth of 24 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill
over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground

A groundwater interceptor is required as part of this system. This
interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by 42
inches deep with 36 inches of clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch smooth
wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must be located at least ten (10) feet
upslope from the disposal field and must discharge through a watertight, non-
perforated pipe beside or below the disposal field. A separation of 25 feet is
required from the septic tank if the tank is located upslope of the groundwa-
ter interceptor.

An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field
in the approved area and at the correct depth.

This approval is site Specific to the area tested and the septic system
must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho-
rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is
proposed for a different area on the property.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
Construct the drainfields within the immediate area of the test pits and
no farther downslope. Avoid the concave landform. A pre-permit field
stakeout will be necessary to establish the location and elevations of
the individual drainfield lines for both system. Refer to the stakeout
procedure and the setback list for details to complete the stakeout.
Note, especially the separation distance between the septic tank and
curtain drain depending upon whether the tank is above or below the
curtain drain. Siting wells should be deferred pending the stakeout
review. Soil conditions are marginal for standard system construction so
use care not alter the natural topsoil prior to drainfield installation.

THIS IS NOT A PEEMIT TO INSTALL THE S~PTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INSTALL THE SYSTEM
UNTIL A VALID PERMIT HAS B~N ISSUED BY THIS OFFICE.
