April 27, 1994

APPLICANT:
SITE NUMBER:

SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET

LARRY I~UDELL
94-1617

Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL
SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa-
tion of your septic system.

1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000
gallons.

The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at
450 qallons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this
site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal feet per 150
~allons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 450 lineal
feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop-
ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and
on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125
feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed
level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface.

The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution
with a minimum trench depth of 24 inches and a maximum trench
depth of 24 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill
over the top Of the gravel, measured from the natural ground
surface.

This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system
must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho-
rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is
proposed for a different area on the property.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
Construct the drainfields within the immediate area of the soil test
pits. Use care not to alter the natural topsoil before drainfield
installation. A pre-construction field stakeout is recommended to
establish the elevations and locations of the individual drainfield
lines for both systems prior to siting any wells. Refer to the enclosed
stakeout procedure and the setback list for details to complete the
stakeout. Allow space for a future upslope curtain should it prov~
necessary. Note, especially the separation distance between the curtain
drain and the septic tank depending upon whether the tank is above or
below the curtain drain.

THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INSTALL THE SYSTEM
UNTIL A VALID PERMI.T HAS BEEN iSSUED BY THIS OFFICE.
