sTANDAHD SYSTE~ CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />June l, 1994 <br /> <br />APPLICANTs <br />SITE NUMBER: <br /> <br />G & ~ USSELMAN <br />94-1911, WEST P/O T/L 1400, 1.965 ACRES. <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE S~WAGE DISPOSAL <br />SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa- <br />tion of your septic system. <br /> <br /> 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br /> 2. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br /> 450 ~allons...ppr day. Based on soil conditions observed on this <br /> site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal feet oer 150 <br /> qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 450 linea.~ <br /> feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br /> ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br /> on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br /> feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br /> level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br /> 3. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution <br /> with a minimum trench depth of 24 inches and a maximum trench <br /> depth of 24 inches. There must be at least .~2 inches of backfill <br /> over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground <br /> <br /> A groundwater interceptor is required as part of this system. This <br />interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by 42 <br />inches deep with 36 inches of clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch smooth <br />wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must be located at least ten (10) feet <br />upslope from the disposal field and must discharge through a watertight, non- <br />perforated pipe beside or below the disposal field. A separation of 25 feet is <br />required from the septic tank if the tank is located upslope of the groundwa- <br />ter interceptor. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field <br /> in the approved area and at the correct depth. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS= <br /> The drainfields cannot be constructed within the concave landform of the <br /> drainage swale. The lines must be installed on straight slopes or convex <br /> surfaces and contoured to the natural landform. A pre-construction field <br /> stakeout will be necessary to establish the locations and elevations of <br /> the individual drainfield lines for both systems. Refer to the enclosed <br /> stakeout procedure and the setback list for details to complete the <br /> stakeout. Note, especially the separation distance required between the <br /> septic tank and curtain drain depending upon whether the tank is above <br /> or below the curtain drain. A list of licensed septic system installers <br /> who can assist with the stakeout is included for your convenience. Use <br /> care not to alter the natural topsoil within the drainfield areas prior <br /> to construction. <br /> <br />THIS IS NOT A pm~TT TO INSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM.
