STANDAED SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />October 14, 1993 <br /> <br />APPLICANT~ John Davidson <br />BITE NUMBER~ <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SIT~ SEWAG~ DISPOSAL <br />SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa- <br />tion of your septic system. <br /> <br /> 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 2000 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />450 q~.llons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this <br />site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal feet R~ 150 <br />~ of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of ~50 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (~) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 24 ~nches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 94 inches. There must be at least 12 inche~ of backfill <br />over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground <br />surface. <br /> <br /> A groundwater interceptor is required as part of this system. This <br />interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by 48 <br />inches deep with 36 inche~ of clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch smooth <br />wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must be located at least ten (10) feet <br />upslope from the disposal field and must discharge through a watertight, non- <br />perforated pipe beside Or below the disposal field. A separation of 25 feet is <br />required from the septic tank if the tank is located upslope of the groundwa- <br />ter interceptor. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> See the attached setback table for minimum separation distances.
