(R-ii1.2) <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least 6 in. above the finished grade to <br />the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) <br /> <br />The garage shall be completely separated from the residence and its <br />attic area by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board or equivalent applied to <br />the garage side. The door between the garage and residence shall be <br />equipped with solid wood doors not less than 1 3/8 inches in thickness <br />or 20-minute fire rated, or equivalent. (R-209.2) <br /> <br />Wood framed walls a minimum of two feet and less than four feet wide at <br />garage door openings shall be provided with approved hold-down anchors <br />at each end of each wall segment. The hold-downs shall connect the wall <br />studding to the concrete foundataion. THESE "MODIFIED BRACED PANELS" <br />ARE REQUIP. ED AT EACN SIDE OF THE GARAGE DOOR. <br /> <br />HAKE SURE THAT ASPHALT SHINGLES APd~ INSTALLED AS PER HANUFACTURES <br />INSTRUCTIONS FOR LOW SLOPE ROOFS. PLEASE RAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS <br />AVAILABLE FOR THE INSPECTOR. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or Of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br /> <br />DAW <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
