Tim Boyce
March 8, 1993
Page 2

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
The stakeout plan submitted to this office showed 315 lineal feet of
disposal field staked out on the property. The minimum disposal field
required for this site, as stated in my January 12, 1993 letter, is 300
lineal feet for the initial system and 125 lineal feet for the future
sand filter replacement system. The slope in the area ef the staked out
septic system is 48-50% and is not acceptable under the D.E.Q. rules.
The house is staked in the area that was originally approved for
placement of the septic system.

If you disagree with this evaluation and elect not to dig additional test
holes, you may appeal to D.E.Q. A request may be submitted to the D.E.Q. for
a denial review and they will visit the property and make a determination on
the suitability of your site for installation of an on-site sewage disposal
system. Application must be made to the willamette Valley Regional Office of
the D.E.Q. within thirty (30) days of denial notification. D.~.Q. will charge
a fee for this inspection.

Please call our office if you have any questions. Our hours are $;00 to 4:30,
Mo~ay through Friday.

REGISTERED SANITARIAN

DONALD WOODL~¥
BUILDING OFFICIAL
