SHRABEL C/O AAA SEPTIC SERVICE P/O BOX 20811 SALEM, OREGON~ 97325 FILE SUBJECT: SITE #94-624, T:SS, R:2W, S:26B, T/L:2400 SITE ADDRESS: 7450 75TH PLACE SE, AUMSVILLE, ORE 97325 An evaluation has been made of the above described property proposed for installation of an on-site sewage disposal system. As a result of that investigation, it has been determined that the site specified on your applica- tion does not qualify for a standard septic System or any of the alternative systems. The conditions on the site do not meet the minimum requirements of the Department of Environmental Quality On-Site Sewage Disposal Rules. These rules ar~ specified in Oregon Administrative Rules, Chapter 340, Division 71, Sections 100 through 600. Consequently, this site must be denied. The principal reasons for denial of this site are related to shallow seasonal water levels. The following paragraphs outline the specific reasons for this denial. WATER TABLES= 1. A water table, as indicated by conditions associated with satura- tion, was observed on the property as follows: ' a. Evidence of a ~emporary water table was observed at 8~8 to 10 inches below the ground surface. These measurements were to the depth of the soil mottling or to the actual depth of an observed water table. 2. The above conditions do not meet the minimum D.E.Q. rules pertain- ing to standard and alternative sewage systems. The minimu~ requirements ar~ listed below: a. A temporary uroundwater table cannot be less than 24 inches below the ground surface for installation of a ~tandard septic system or 12 i~inches for installation of any of the alternative systems. It should be noted that this study was done only in the area proposed on your application for on-site sewage disposal. Within the boundaries of your proper- ty, it is possible that soil conditions in a different area of the property may be different than those examined in the existing test pits. If you feel that better soil conditions may exist in anothe~ area of the property, additional test pits will be inspected with no additional charge. Prepare and submit a new site plan showing the new area proposed for evaluation. Notify this office of your request in writing and within ninety (90) days of the initial site evaluation.
