SE, Aumsville <br />93-03587 (50705) <br />November 2, 1993 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Marion Co ,nty <br /> OR£GON <br />COMMUNITY D£VFLOPMENT <br />DEPARt'MEN r <br /> <br />~uilding Inspectio~ - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1990 ~dition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty code. <br /> <br />A copy of approved plans shall be kept on the site of the building or <br />work at the time of inspection. (R-il1.2) <br /> <br />Footings shall extend not loss than 12 in. below the finish natural <br />grade. (R-303) <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least 8 in. above the finished grade to <br />the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) (6 in. where pressure treated <br />sill plates are used.) <br /> <br />The foundation and its structural elements shall be capable of <br />accommodating all superimposed live, dead and other loads according to <br />Section R-201 and all lateral loads in accordance with the provisions of <br />the Code and accepted engineering design practice. (R-301.2) <br /> <br />A keyway in the footing is an acceptable method and will transfer the <br />lateral loads, provide a 18 inch long No. 3 dowels extending 12 inches <br />from the footing into the wall, 4 feet on center or the footing and <br />stemwall in one pour (monolithically). <br /> <br />Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with minimum <br />1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts e~bedded at least 7 inches <br />into concrete or reinforced masonry and spaced not more than 6 feet <br />apart with a minimum of 2 bolts per piece with one bolt within 12 inches <br />of the end of each piece. Figure (R-303) <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />Engineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. All job site cutting er <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built <br />at the job site, submit the engineer's design and construction plans to <br />the Marion County Building Department prior to start of construction and <br />have the approved drawings available at the site for the fra~ing <br />inspection. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of tho provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. Reviews or inspections <br />presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the <br />dwelling code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction shall not be valid. <br />sf <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
