340 BUTTE ST N, DETROIT <br />94-226 (9052335) <br />January 19, 1994 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Marion County <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMEN'i' <br />DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the state of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />27. <br /> <br />A cody of approved plans when required by the building official shall be <br />kept on the site of the building or work at the time of inspection. <br />(R-ii1.2) <br /> <br />37. <br /> <br />46. <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />Basement walls, foundation walls, and other vertical concrete exposed to <br />the weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of <br />3000 psi. Porches, carport slabs, garage floor slabs and steps exposed <br />to the weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of <br />3500 psi. Table No. (R-302.2) <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least $ in. above the finished grade to <br />the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) (6 in. where pressure treated <br />sill plates are used.) <br /> <br />~tairways shall not be less than 3 feet in clear width and the headroom <br />shall not be less than 6 feet 8 inches. The minimum required stair <br />tread width is 9 inches. The maximum stair rise is 8 1/4 inches. When <br />risers are closed, all treads may have a uniform projection not to <br />exceed 1 1/2 inches. The greatest riser height shall not exceed the <br />smallest by more than 3/8 inch. (R-213.1) <br /> <br />Open sides of stairs with a total rise of more than 30 inches above the <br />floor or grade below shall have guardrails not less than 34 inches in <br />height measured vertically from the nosing of the treads. (R-214.1) <br />Guardrail shall have intermediate rails or ornamental closures which <br />will not allow passage of an object 6 in. or more in diameter. <br />Horizontal spacing between the vertical members in required guardrails <br />shall be a maximum of 4 inches at the nearest point between the members. <br />(R-214.2) <br /> <br />The garage shall be completely separated from the residence and its <br />attic area by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board or equivalent applied to <br />the garage side. The door between the garage and residence shall be <br />equipped with solid wood doors not less than 1 3/8 inches in thickness <br />Or 20-minute fire rated, or ~quivalent. (R-209.2) <br /> <br />Bathrooms shall be provided with artificial light and an approved <br />mechanical ventilation system capable of producing a change of air every <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
