S.E., Aumsville <br />93-02667 / 904886~ <br />August 16, 1993 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Marior County <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY DEVeLOPMeNT <br /> DF pA~,TME~r <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plam Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and TWO Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as ~estricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />Appliances that generate a glow, spark or flame capable of igniting <br />gasoline vapors and located in a garage shall be installed with burners, <br />burner ignition devices or heating elements and switches at least 18 <br />inches above the floor level (M-1006.3) <br /> <br />A readily accessible attic access shall be provided to any attic area <br />having a clear height of over 30 inches. A framed opening not less than <br />22 in. by 30 in. is required. (R-708) <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />Engineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available a~ the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. Ail job site cutting or <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. <br /> <br />Water heaters having nonrigid water connections and over 4-feet in <br />height from the base to the top of the tank case shall be anchored or <br />strapped to the building to resist horizontal displacement due to <br />earthquake motion. (M-1006.2) <br /> <br />A minimum 3' x 3' landing shall be required on each side of the door. <br />R-212 <br /> <br />Please see the attached handout for insulation requirements at the <br />stemwall. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code Or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction.
