CAPPING FILL SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET

March 5, 1993

APPLICANT: DANIEL SNYDEB
SITE NUMBER: 93-$41 CENTER LOT, (~2)

Your site has been found suitable for a CAPPING FILL ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE
DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the
installation of your septic system.

1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000
gallons.

2. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at
450 gallons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this
site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal feet Der 150
~allons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 450 lineal
feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop-
ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and
on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125
feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed
level (~1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface.

The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution
with a minimum trench depth of 18 inches and a maximum trench
depth of 18 inches. The capping fill material must be inspected
and approved prior to placement. The fill shall be of the same
textural class, or one class finer, than the native topsoil. The
disposal field area must be scarified to destroy any vegetative
mat on the surface. Fill material shall be evenly graded to a
final depth of sixteen (16) inches over the gravel, cappinq Fill
systems shall be constructed betwee~ June 1 and October i or

durlnq such times when our staff finds soil moisture conditions

acceptable.

4. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is
proposed for a different area on the property.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS=
Construct the drainfields within the immediate area of the soil test
pits. Use care not to disturb the topsoil within the proposed drainfield
sites. Observe all normal setback/separation distances. Refer to the
enclosed setback list which outlines minimum separation distances
between septic systems and other features. Keep in mind the seasonal
limitations that the capping fill must be installed.

THIS IS NOT A PEP24IT TO INSTa?3- TH~ SEPTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INSTa?~?~ THE SYSTEM
UNTIL A VALID PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED BY THIS OFFICE.
