Precautions to <br />achieve this end would consist of (1) covering of <br />prepared bearing surfaces with impervious membranes or <br />granular blankets (4-in. minimum thickness) or (2) <br />cessation of work during rainy weather. <br /> <br />6. Surface run-off (from roofs, parking areas, etc.) <br />should be tight-lined to the storm sewer or other <br />approved disposal areas, <br /> <br />7. Surface topography, such as landscape area should <br />be so contured so that surface run-off is directed away <br />from the area of the strUcture. <br /> <br />8. Ail slope areas should be protected from erosion by <br />seeding with suitable vegetation or by the placement of <br />a granular blanket consisting of adequate rip rap <br />material. <br /> <br />9. We request, that we examine and identify soil <br />exposures created during project excavations in order to <br />verify that soil conditions are as anticipated. We <br />r~commend that the structural fills be continuously <br />inspected by a representative of the soils engineer in <br />order to insure the thoroughness and uniformity of their <br />gompaction. <br /> <br />Use of Report <br /> <br />This report is for the exclusive use of the addressee and <br />their representative to use to design the proposed structure <br />described herein and prepare const~ction documents.
