November 17, 1992
Kenneth Allen
Page 2

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
The soil conditions are fairly close to meeting the standards for an
alternative sand filter system. As outlined above, there may be better sites
elsewhere within the boundaries of this property. We will examine additional
test pits and will monitor water levels of the existing soil test pits if you
chose to prepare the sites for a winter season review. Refer to the enclosed
winter review application and the standpipe installation instructions. Prepare
the sites within 30 days for us to conduct a winter season review.

If you disagree with this evaluation and elect not to dig additional test
holes, you may appeal to D.E.Q. A request may be submitted to the D.E.Q. for
a denial review and they will visit the property and make a determination on
the suitability of your site for installation of an on-site sewage disposal
system. Application must be made to the Willamette Valley Regional Office of
the D.E.Q. within thirty (30) days of denial notification. D.E.Q. will charge
a fee for this inspection.

Please call our office if you have any questions. Our hours are 8:00 to 4:30,
Monday through Friday.

Sincerely,

LEE A GRIMES
SOIL SCIENTIST

DONALD WOODLEY
BUILDING OFFICIAL
